Rajen Makhijani brings an inter-disciplinary approach to pressing issues for leaders in the business, politics and development. He is a consultant, coach, award nominated screenwriter (Netflix link), and has held leadership positions in top global strategy consulting firms, and line organisations, over 20 years post his MBA.
He began his post IIM career with a sales stint in FMCG, and then, operations consulting (~6 years). Post this he has been spending his time almost equally between strategy and leadership consulting in the last ~14 years.
Rajen built / ran organisations as an intrapreneur for new practice / business lines (across Dalberg & Heidrick), and as Country Director (uChicago) – with P&L and fundraising; being external face and evangelist; driving strategy and partnerships; and team building and internal collaboration. As consultant, he was Country Director for McKinsey seeded global non-profit in SG
Served in global, cross-cultural settings across India, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and S.Africa, apart from serving leaders from across Africa; as well as Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, and Bahrain.
